About Australian Golf Schools

If you are keen to improve your golf game spend some time at Australian Golf Schools, where we guarantee two things:

1. Your golf will improve!
2. You will enjoy the experience!

A Typical Daily Program

We spend from 8.30am –11.30am on the practice range. Here we work on all aspects of your game with an emphasis placed on those areas which typically need the most help.

The first part of Day 1 is where we assess your game and devise a plan to best use the time you will be spending with us. We will video your swing at the outset, allowing us a great comparative tool with which to compare your swing changes after the School has concluded.

Instruction is almost totally one on one with group lessons reserved for those applications where it is appropriate, such as a general bunker principles clinic.

We have a low pupil to teacher ratio so you will get all the personal instruction you can handle. Normally no more than three pupils per instructor.

In the after lunch session you will play 18 holes with your instructor at a Championship Standard golf course. Example courses include Lakelands, The Glades, Riverlakes, Indooroopilly, Palm Meadows, Hope Island, Sanctuary Cove, Brookwater, Gainsborough Greens, Emerald Lakes, Robina, Colonial and Arundel Hills. The afternoon session is a playing lesson where you will learn how to manage your way around the golf course and develop a strategy to cope with the challenges that inevitably emerge on the golf course.

This is basically repeated each day that you are with us.

These days the population is generally 'time poor' and as a result we are frequently asked '‘How long should I come for?’' From our experience, the answer is always the same, "the longer the better."

One day works well but it only allows us to focus on one or two aspects of your game.

Two days is three times as good as one day because we get the chance to confirm what you have learnt.

Three days is twice as good as two.

Five days is close to ideal.

On the odd occasion we have had pupils who stayed on for a second week and the improvement they made that second week was staggering.

Our standard school is a 5 Day Package but we also have 3 Day, 2 Day and 1 Day Schools. If the scheduled dates do not suit you we can generally accommodate your individual needs.

Each of our golf schools is conducted in a safe, secure, fun environment. Whether you are attending with your spouse, friend, partner, or travelling alone, the staff at Australian Golf Schools will make you feel welcome and at ease.
