Australian Golf Schools provides intensive, personal golf tuition on the idyllic golf courses located on the Gold Coast. Our ideal 5 day course is best, however we have 3,2 and 1 day (refresher) courses for you to choose from.

5 Day Golf Schools

Our golf schools are designed as an intensive 5 days of golf. The school opens with a welcoming dinner at 6.00pm on Sunday. During dinner we explain the program for the week and discuss what your aims and ambitions are for your golfing future. 

On Monday we pick you up from the hotel at 8.00am. It is a short 5 minute drive to Emerald Lakes Golf Club  from the hotel (for those staying at Royal Pines Resort). We spend the first part of day one observing and videoing the swing you came with and developing a plan for the week. All the video we do through the week is compiled as a record for you to take home and it becomes your periodic reference point to remind you of what you learn while with us. Head Instructor - Tom Linskey

Professional golfer Tom Linskey is widely acknowledged as Director of Australia’s longest-running and best-known golf teaching schools. He was Australian Long Drive Champion in 1977 and again took that honour, this time in the ‘Super Senior’ category, in 2006.

But it has been his diverse career in golf-related occupations that stands Tom apart from most other golf professionals. Not content to just ‘play’ for a living, he has forged a profession as both a playing and teaching pro, a golf course designer, a coach, an administrator and an entrepreneur. Learn more about Tom here..

Training Facilities

Our 350 metre driving range allows you to work on your long game. It has a large driving range with a total of 40 driving mats, 20 of which are covered for protection from the strong summer sun and the rain of the cooler months. Various handy markers indicate the length and the accuracy of your strokes.

We also have several beautifully presented and manicured grass tees for use by our guests. The grass provides true feedback for all golfers. New Srixon range balls are used to provided consistent ball flight and distance. View our training facility here
